'Tis the Season

We are excited to be giving out 170 beautiful Christmas gifts this weekend! We will be visiting Tens, the Bunny Ranch, the Candy Store, and Turbulence. This year we filled the bags with Victoria Secret lotion, jewelry, socks or gloves, other unique items, and of course, chocolate. It is a gift any woman would be excited to receive.

As always each gift has a Second Mile artist designed book of Jesus’ birth taken straight from the Bible. It is our hope that the dancers will read the awesomeness of Jesus coming to earth and that the gift we give them will be a small reminder that Jesus has so much more to give than we could ever ask or imagine.

If this is your first time visiting our brand new super cool website, welcome!! Take a look around, submit a comment, shoot us an email. Dancers, we love you and look forward to hearing from you.

Merry Christmas!!

Hi, I used to dance. I have worked everywhere in Tucson. I was working as a one o’clock girl over at ‘The Ranch’ in 2005 when I came in one night and the manager that was on gave me the very last gift left from the gifts that 2nd Mile had brought over earlier that day.
I love to learn about God but felt a little apprehensive that there may be an alterior motive to a gift from a group of church people. I guess that I just had a difficult time trusting people in general and have had to deal with crazy church types standing at the entrance of clubs and yelling at myself and the other girls as we went in and out for our shifts.
Needless to say, I tore into the gift anyway!! Free goodies, yaye! I found a lot of cool things inside as well as a very colorful booklet that they had put together about the story of Jesus. In the book was a little info about the church along with Angel’s nimber. I decided to call Angel and inquire about 2nd Mile. I thanked her for the gift and after the conversation I hung up feeling a little strange still but relieved that she was such a great and non-judgemental listener. I really felt like I could tell her anything.
This was a very rough time in my life. I believe in signs and I had felt really saddened over the way things were for me and my situation seemed hopeless. I consider it a very big blessing that I happened to work at a club that they visited and ended up meeting Angel and 2nd Mile. They never forget about us.
I love the dedication you have for us and I like the idea and layout of the site, Very cool!. Thank you.
    Xoxo, Indica
